Nana

Saddly, we lost a dear member of the family this summer. Mom passed away early August and we are all trying hard to cope with her lose. The children had a chance to say goodbye in a not so finale way durning the early summer, when Mom was released from stroke rehab and left for my sister's home.
Mom enjoyed several weeks of family and nature before falling ill. She went downhill from there. Luckily, I was able to make it to my sister's house before She passed and stood with her as she slipped away. Her passing was painless and very diginified. As she wanted it.
The family then joined up at home for one last goodbye. The children handled that amazingly well. Each played thier own part and did what made letting go easier for each of them. We left feeling the love She had always given to us. Carrying with us the belief that she would love on in our hearts and minds.
