Pond's Edge Home Academy

Ok... ever see that family down the street... the one who's kids just don't seem to ever go off to school? You know the one... toys in the front yard and no bus passes. Yup... you guessed it... Homeschoolers. We are many and we are each very different.

Our journey started about 4 years ago when we decided to take the leap. We sent our letters in and when Sept. rolled around, our two stayed home. It didn't take long to get into a pattern. Ironically, we learned something very very cool... We actually liked spending the time together.

To our amazment, we were not alone. Before long we had quiet the little network of other homeschoolers to turn to when we had questions. *smiles* Over the years, some have come and gone, but each shared something special with us.

We hope that over the next few months we can do the same for someone out there.
